Rural Self-employment scheme from SRWS is a boon for West Bengal villagers and or rural people. The formation of SRWS self-help group has economically bolstered the entire rural area in the district of 24-Paraganas (S), empowering the unemployed persons in various fields.
The
majority of the population in the state lives in rural areas, most of whom are
dependent on agriculture in some way or other for their livelihood. According to
current available information, over 25 percent of the state's population lives
below the poverty line. These people are primarily belonging to the rural
agricultural sector.
Since agriculture is the backbone of the rural
economy, it is evident that broad-based rural growth and reduction of poverty
cannot be achieved without increasing the income generating potential of the
agriculture sector.
District-wise Progress of “ self-help group “ Schemes
has been started by Sabujbangla Rural Welfare Society, a NGO, registered under
West Bengal Society ACT XXVI of 1961 vide Reg. No. S/2L/40787 of 2015-2016, in
the district of 24-Paraganas (S) in West Bengal, India. A lot of activities have taken by SRWS to
develop the lifestyle of the needy & destitute people in the rural area of
West Bengal. SRWS introducing a unique concept in relation with agricultural
food-products through implementing “
self-help group “ membership to endeavor
the goal of financial up gradation in the financially backward village people. The
member need not have any investment in the said self-employment scheme, SRWS
hereby committed to provide all the arrangements for the purpose on behalf of the
member. The project has neither any hidden fees nor any Investment but the
members of “ self-help group “ have a fixed income/earning and career prospect
in a regular manner for their livelihood.
The lives of human beings are important and valuable
to develop a successful family, society & country. If we don’t intake for a
day, we may survive but if we can’t earn for a day, we may suffering from
frustration. The suitable income opportunity may bring peace, happiness and
security in the financially backward family of our society.
Unity is strength, so we have duty bound to unite
& sacrifice together towards the prosperity of our society. All the
unemployed have inner ability to learn & earn and they should be active and
confident in this regard for their own development as well as the goodwill of
the next generation.
Nowadays, financially backward villagers are facing
a lot of problem to their earning. We, SRWS, is trying our level best to
overcome this uncomfortable situation by implementing different projects in the
field of cultivation and agricultural food-products to the rural area. Our only
goal is to offer our service to help & cooperate with the financially
backward people in the villages of rural area for their proper income
opportunity through “Self-help Group” membership scheme.

All financially backward people, unemployed and
farmers of rural area may join or participate as a member in SRWS “Self-help
Group” project for their permanent income advantage. Our “Self-help Group”
membership project is dealing on the basis of agricultural lands &
agricultural food-products. SRWS “ self-help group “ programme always aware
& careful for the overall goodwill and utmost development of financially
backward rural people for all aspects in the society.
We have an expectation to promote and expand the
said project for the financially backward people to the remote corner of the
rural/village region in all over the West Bengal State.
